Research and add to the existing body of knowledge on the tangible and intangible cultural heritage of Vijayanagara manuscript and mural paintings in Hampi's Virupaksha temple, Lepakshi's Veerabhadraswamy temple and other Vijayanagara and post Vijayanagara sites

Disseminate new knowledge to other scholars on the Vijayanagara and post Vijayanagara mural paintings through presentations at seminars, conferences, exhibitions, journal publications as well as at village festivals to school children and other community members

Collaborate with and provide art, historical and other cultural content required by the IDH project technology teams who are interested in developing in-painting technologies and image restoration digital technologies and by technologists at the Multimedia Laboratory at IIT-Delhi digitizing cultural objects and incorporating intangible cultural heritage of mural arts through ontological interlinking of ICH

Collaborate with technologists, art and cultural scholars at leading institutes across India, who have been working on IDH projects supported by the Department of Science and Technology, GOI to co-create an open access cultural knowledge bank with digital archives of the tangible and intangible heritage of Vijayanagara and Post Vijayanagara mural paintings at Hampi and Lepakshi

Ensure that the mural archives in the digital cultural knowledge bank are user friendly and enable scholars and other users to browse, view annotations and digital narratives and also upload new content. All content uploaded by users will be reviewed and archived after approval by a committee of knowledgeable experts

Create a short film on the intangible and tangible heritage of Vijayanagara and post Vijayanagara mural paintings to create awareness and help conserve the paintings for future generations
